On the occasion of State Day 2022, I extend my heartiest greetings to all the Sikkimese people. On this fateful day, Sikkim opted for democracy and from that moment onwards, Sikkimese people have contributed to the development and prosperity of our nation, integrating a deep bond with the country. Sikkim has made significant strides in the last 47 years, creating a unique identity.
Likewise, I express my special gratitude to all the esteemed Governors and Chief Ministers alongside the whole Cabinets and legislatures for their contribution to the development and prosperity of our state.
On this occasion, I would like to reiterate our commitment to preserve and protect our culture, heritage, traditional practices, and ethos of oneness and improve the living standards of our citizens. With this goal in view, our party has taken over the reins of the government and will continue to march forward to restore and regenerate the torch of true democracy in the state. Collectively, we shall resolve to overcome all obstacles to reach new heights of a transparent government with priorities for good education, world-class healthcare, and integration technology in every aspect.
I call upon all for their support to generate timely opportunities for youth, socio-economic parity for women, a time-based education system for students, ease of doing business, technical and financial assistance to farmers, citizen-centric government, fear-free environment for press & media, and respect for intellectual civil society. Today, on the occasion of State Day and by the grace of Providence, I assure our determination to achieve the goal of “CHANGE” that our Party has envisaged and overcome difficulties to keep Sikkim safe.

Attended the 47th State Day celebrations at Manan Kendra in the benign presence of the Hon’ble Governor Shri Ganga Prasad Ji.
We have come a long way since we became a part of this glorious nation, and I pay my respects to all the pioneers who contributed to the development and prosperity of our state. Let us collectively strive towards achieving holistic development for our state and country and set milestones as we move forward.
