I extend my greetings to all the government servants of Sikkim on the occasion of the National Civil Services Day, Civil Service system is the backbone of the administrative machinery of the country through which the government delivers its services to the public. It is the civil servants who can materialize the policies of the government of the day to meet the aspirations of the people and much depends on their probity in public delivery.
I extend my gratitude to all civil servants and invite them for a joint effort to establish an efficient, ethical and accountable governance.
The National Civil Services day is observed on 21st April every year. As we were unable to commemorate the day earlier, the state government has decided to organize a formal event at Manan Kendra today in their honor.
Delighted to be a part of the National Civil Services Day celebration at Manan Kendra in the presence of Hon’ble Ministers and civil servants from All India Service and State Civil Service.
Sikkim is fortunate to have exceptional civil servants in the past, and currently, we have some of the finest, hardworking, and dedicated civil servants. We appreciate and recognize their valuable service and contribution towards the development and progress of our state.
